Sofia, Bulgaria (co.uk) - Four referees that officiated a Bulgarian domestic match last weekend have been suspended by the Bulgarian Football Union for an undetermined number of matches. Galin Moskalev, Yordan Gulev, Nedelcho Chakarov and Stefan Spassov have been punished for poor officiating during the Division I game between Marek Dupnitsa and CSKA Sofia. The Football Union's Referee Commission President Vassil Zhechev said after the ruling: "The ban is for their unsatisfactory officiating during the match." The officiating crew missed an intentional handball by CSKA's Stoiko Sakaliev inside the box at the 54 minute mark. CSKA scored their second goal of the match on the play and the game eventually ended in a 2-2 draw. Levski Sofia would have captured the table lead with its 4-1 win over Spartak Varna on Saturday but the point won by CSKA with the draw left the two sides tied for the Division I lead.
